A special thank you to the Parents and Friend’s for organising the school disco and donut day.
A great way to launch into the holiday period. Classes will be grouped throughout the day and will have their allocated time to get down and boogie!!!
It’s casual clothes day as well!
I would like to inform you that the Catholic Education SA Summary Reports from the review into how CESA schools are catering for students with disability (SWD) are now available on the SWD Review webpage on the CESA website:
These reports include: A Summary Report of the conversations the Review has held with 124 students with disability across metropolitan and country South Australia. Summary Reports of the Review Surveys results for the following groups:
• 343 parents/carers/guardians of students with disability
• 100 members of the community
• 98 principals of Catholic schools
• 822 staff of Catholic schools: teachers, positions of responsibility, deputy principals and support staff
• 56 staff in the Catholic Education Office. For your information, the different Survey Summary Reports consist of three main components:
• an overview synopsis of the responses in the respective survey prepared by Ms Gerry Gray, a Disability Specialist and Advocate from NSW, whom the Review has engaged to assist its independent approach
• data reports for the survey questions inviting a quantitative response that have been prepared by Square Holes, the independent company the Review commissioned to undertake the surveys
• a brief outline by Square Holes of the themes that emerged in the qualitative comments people provided in the surveys.
Just like that, we are 3/4 through the year!
We hope the children will enjoy this year's "Disco and Donut Day".
A special thank you to Vili's for generously offering to donate the donuts.
Term 4 begins on Tuesday October 13.

Today RMG, RGL & RTM celebrated their term 3 Liturgy on Spring and the Gifts of New Life.
Our final information session was held this week for families preparing their children to receive the Sacrament of Eucharist next term.
It was lovely for our families to come together and support their children during this special time in their lives.

Celebrating the season of Creation in the Church
(1st September to 4th October 2020)
All-powerful God, you are present in the whole universe
and in the smallest of your creatures.
You embrace with your tenderness all that exists.
Pour out upon us the power of your love,
that we may protect life and beauty.
Fill us with peace, that we may live
as brothers and sisters, harming no one.
O God of the poor,
help us to rescue the abandoned and forgotten of this earth,
so precious in your eyes.
Bring healing to our lives,
that we may protect the world and not prey on it,
that we may sow beauty, not pollution and destruction.
Touch the hearts
of those who look only for gain
at the expense of the poor and the earth.
Students and families are reminded to be wary of approaches from strangers, especially when they are unaccompanied or travelling to and from school.
If they are approached students should not respond and should not accept offers of rides or gifts.
